Jo Smith is in charge of Southampton Archives, The Civic Centre, Southampton. She read History at Nottingham University and later obtained a Diploma in Archives Administration at the University of Aberystwyth. After a spell working in Manchester on the archives of a national bank, she came in 1997 to work at Southampton Archives.
